About the series

Real-world exchange.
Practical perspectives.

Learn from the people putting AI to work across biopharma.

#GenAI4Pharma brings together life sciences leaders, AI innovators, investors, startups, and ecosystem partners to explore how AI is changing the biopharma industry—from scientific discovery and clinical development to commercialization.

Each gathering combines keynote conversations, startup showcases, and purposeful networking. Speakers share real-world use cases, discuss the realities of implementation, showcase emerging AI startups, and build meaningful connections across the ecosystem.

Founded by Shwen Gwee, #GenAI4Pharma grew from his vision of creating a forum where biopharma leaders, AI innovators, and investors could learn directly from one another as this rapidly evolving field moves from experimentation to practical implementation.

Shwen brings more than 20 years of experience leading digital strategy, innovation, and transformation across commercial, clinical, and enterprise functions at organizations including AbbVie, Bristol Myers Squibb, Novartis, Biogen, and Vertex.
